Common Failures For Metal Roofs

In addition to loose fasteners, seams are a common problem for metal roofs. Sometimes seams can come apart and cause leaks. Metal roofs often face buckles within the ribs and splitting peaks due to expansion, and contraction. For some roofs, expansion and contraction can cause seams to open up. Simply adding foam and coatings will not solve this problem. In this case, we applied a fabric-embedded sealer to the horizontal and vertical seams to prevent future leaks. When restoring the entire roof, we applied one of our metal roof applications which seals the fasteners and seams, and then an energy-saving top coat.
